William S. Rauworth

William Samuel "Bill" Rauworth, age 69 of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis. Bill was born November 10, 1952 to Samuel and Nancy (Hanna) Rauworth. He graduated from Waller High School in Chicago. Bill served in the Coast Guard. He was an incredible musician and played a 6 string guitar. Bill especially liked to play blues music with his band. They played many shows together at numerous locations. He enjoyed collecting art. More than anything, Bill will be remembered as a man who loved visiting with his family.

Bill is survived by 2 brothers, Michael (wife Nancy) Rauworth and Andrew (wife Karen) Rauworth; 3 nieces Mariana Hire, Katy Bandy, and Hanna Rauworth; and 2 nephews, Sam Rauworth and Michael Rauworth. Bill is preceded in death by his parents.

Bill's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services at this time. Newcomer Indianapolis is honored to handle Bill's cremation wishes.
