William Marvin Morris

Indianapolis - William Marvin "Billy" Morris, 75, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Greenwood Health Care. He was born May 11, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Andrew M. and Bernice E. Scrugham Morris. He was the oldest of nine children. He attended Roberts School for the Handicapped. Billy worked for Goodwill Industries for over twenty years. Additionally, he worked at his beloved church, Westside Apostolic, for many years where he served as the custodian.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Sandra Morris; brother, David M. Morris; and sisters, Penny E. Morris Partin and Mary C. Morris Woolery. He is survived by his brothers, Richard W. Morris and Daniel L. Morris; sisters: Sheryl A. Morris Bailey, Linda Sue Morris Hole and Teresa A. Morris Fuller; and many other loving family members and friends.

Billy's family will receive friends Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, October 18, 2019, at 10 am at the funeral home chapel.
