William Alexander Jordan

Louisville, KY - William Alexander Jordan, 67, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019. Mr. Jordan was born May 11, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Eugene and Jessie Moose Jordan. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. He was a lifetime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Prior to his retirement in 2011, he was employed by Travelers Insurance where he served as a vice president.

Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Latonya Greenwood and his brother, Mark. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Roveta Ann Jordan; sons, Dameon (Tanya) Walker and Leonard (April) Gray; daughter, Shawnta Gray; sisters, Doris and Brenda; brother, Anthony; a host of grandchildren; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Mr. Jordan's family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2019, from 11 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm.
