William Talmadge Greer, Jr.

Knightstown - William Talmadge "Solo" Greer, Jr., 60, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born March 8, 1961 in LaGrange, KY to the late William Greer, Sr., and Myrtle Coleman Greer. He was employed in the family appliance business.

Solo was preceded in death by his parents, William Greer, Sr., and Myrtle Coleman Greer; brothers, Curtis and Eugene Greer; and sisters: Wilma Stinnett, Roberta Guffey and Brenda Jaremczuk. He is survived by his brothers, Johnny and Philip Greer; sisters: Betty Gordon, Carolyn Miller, Phyllis Tolan, Evelyn Sadalna, Barbara Purdue and Dorothy Hannah; 33 nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Solo's family will receive friends Friday, October 15, 2021, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating. He will be laid to rest privately in Sellersburg Cemetery in Sellersburg, IN.
