INDIANAPOLIS – Wanda Kay (Brickens) Myers, 69, passed away at 5:54 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her home. She was born on April 2, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wanda married Mahlon Johnston Myers Jr. on August 2, 1979 in Montclair, New Jersey.
She studied respiratory therapy at Rutgers University in New Jersey and then worked in the healthcare industry. In her leisure time, Wanda enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was feisty and will be deeply missed by her family.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Mahlon Johnston Myers Jr; children, Stephanie & Matthew; grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Mia & Kya; brother, Robert Brickens; and her sister, Linda. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie.
