Indianapolis – Wallace Douglas Luna, 62, passed away at 7:43 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the loving son of Billy Lee and Nancy (Lawson) Luna. Wallace was born on December 14, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN. He was united in marriage on December 14, 1978 to Pamela Bowers in Indianapolis, IN.
He graduated from Emmerich Manuel High School in 1977. Wallace honorably served his county in the United States Army, retiring after 35 years of service. Later in life, Wallace became a truck driver. His hobbies included collecting baseball cards, bowling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. Wallace enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and a good joke. He also enjoyed having a cold crown and coke beverage. Wallace loved his family and his late wife dearly.
He is survived by his loving children, Michelle (Archie Vaught) Luna, Donald (Linda) Luna and Melissa (Justin West) Luna; his fiancé Debbie Anthis; his brother, Charles Lee Luna; and his grandchildren, Anthony Ludlow, Alexis Arnett, Gracie Haga, Allison Luna, Trinton Hull, Jaxson West and Conner West. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Luna, father, Billy Lee Luna and brother, Donald Wayne Luna.
Wallace's friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46203.
