BEECH GROVE – Vickie Lee Brownlee, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on September 22, 1950 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis to the late Ralph Rutan, Sr. and Betty J. Rutan. Vickie graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and worked many years as a Municipal Clerk for the State of Indiana where she eventually retired.
Vickie is survived by her siblings, Ralph "Bud" Rutan, Jr., Melia Knapp, Theodore "Ted" Rutan, Samuel Rutan, Steven Rutan and Damon Rutan; daughters, Kimberly Brown (Roy “Ted” Brown IV), Jennifer Lee (Charles Lee); grandchildren, Roy “Teddy” Brown V and Nathan Brown; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Oakley and Brixley. Vickie was preceded in death by longtime parter Dennis P. “Bo” Buis II.
