Fairborn, OH - Vernon Ray "Buddy" Goodpaster, Jr., 39, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016.
Buddy was born August 9, 1977 in Cincinnati, OH. He was employed as a mechanic. His family described him as very artistic. He enjoyed drawing and creating beauty out of mundane things, such as the rose he made out of toilet paper for his sister, Jojo. He also had a tattoo on his left shoulder based on a drawing he made of his daughter, Brianna.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Brianna; mother, Loretta Goodpaster; father, Vernon Goodpaster, Sr.; sisters, Jennifer Kramer and her husband, Roger, Joy Montag and her husband, Mike and Jojo Shoemaker and her husband, Kurt; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Buddy's family will receive friends, Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
