Indianapolis - VeLinda Pearl Courtney, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Mrs. Courtney was born June 11, 1938 in Bardwell, KY to the late Roy and Sally Powell Dodson. She served her family as a homemaker.
Mrs. Courtney was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Courtney. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Corcoran and her husband, Kelly; son, Ron Courtney and his wife, Christy; sisters, Alice Cole and Judy Metzger and her husband, Fred; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Courtney's family will receive friends Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A committal service will be conducted privately at Floral Park Cemetery.
