Indianapolis - Tony Lee Trotter, 61, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020. He was born November 22, 1958 in Indianapolis. He attended Indianapolis public schools and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He continued his education at University of Indianapolis, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting.
Tony began his career in the automotive industry when he went to work for Chrysler of Indianapolis where he served for many years. He later owned and operated his own business, Raven Limousine Services, LLC, where his accomplishments provided the absolute best for his wife and children.
In December of 1982, Tony met his beautiful and amazing bride to be, Zoneice Nichelle Hatcher Trotter. To this union, two children were created. First, his forever baby girl and the apple of his eye, his daughter, Shelonda Lee Trotter and then his dream come true and the carrier of the Trotter family name, his son, Tyson Lamar Trotter. In addition to being dedicated to his family, Tony enjoyed music, socializing and the dance known as "Stepping". He was known as "Cool Breeze" a nickname that described him to a tee. Tony will forever be remembered as a wonderful man, who at whatever the cost, loved his family and kept them safe, secure and protected.
Tony was preceded in death by his brothers, Isaac Myrik and Charles Trotter and fathers-in-law, Charley Sykes and Joe Hatcher. Left to cherish his many fond memories are his devoted wife of 37 years, Zoneice Nichelle Hatcher Trotter; daughter, Shelonda Trotter; son, Tyson Trotter; mother, Martha Trotter; mother-in-laws, Tommie Hatcher and Betty Sykes; sister Betty Trotter; twin sister, Bernice (Richard) Taylor; grandchildren; godchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
