INDIANAPOLIS – Tony Leon Moorman, age 54, died at 7:24 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the loving son of Jack Leon and Carla (Doan) Monday. Tony was born on September 30, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1986. Tony's hobbies were fishing and playing pool. He enjoyed spending time with friends. Tony loved working with his hands, especially on cars. Professionally, he was a self-employed handyman for most of his life.
Tony is survived by his children: Brandy Stapp, Miranda (Darrien) Moorman, Brittany (Justin) Kelley, Billy (Angie) Deckard Jr. and Harley (Trent) Purdue; his grandchildren: Liam, Rhya, Chance, Hadley, Triston, Briley, Brooklyn, Billy III, Brady, Brantley, Jayleigh and Kynzie; his father, Jack (Carol) Monday; and the mothers of his children, Dana Williams and Teresa Stapp. As well as many other family and friends that loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carla Monday and his brother, Bryant Moorman.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
