Indianapolis - Timothy "Baker" Baker, Sr., 55, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
Mr. Baker was born January 31, 1962 in Yeager, WV. A former resident of Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Baker moved to Indianapolis in 1972. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the steel industry. He loved sports, especially baseball, which he played throughout his childhood. He also loved music, particularly rock and roll from the 70s and early 80s. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Baker is survived by his daughter, Chasidy Starlin; son, TJ Baker, Jr.; granddaughters, Paityn and Brinley; brother, Dewey Stanton; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Baker's family will receive friends Friday, August 18, 2017, from 4 – 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
