Thomas L. Spangler

Thomas L. Spangler, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. Tom was born in Indianapolis on December 27, 1948 to Thomas T & Irene (Burks) Spangler both of whom precede him in death.
Tom graduated from Southport High School in 1967. He started with the Marion County Sheriff's Office in 1971 and retired in 1995. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being on the lake.
Tom is survived by his daughter: Wendy Rife, grandsons: Tyler Cummings, Collin Cummings; ex-wife and friend: Sheila Spangler; sisters: Linda Mohr, Twanette Schaefer; and a host of other family and friends.
His family will host an open house on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Villas at Quail Run Club House 5910 Quail Run Dr Indianapolis, IN 46237.
