Therese E. Catt

INDIANAPOLIS – Therese E. "Terri" (Trudel) Catt, 91, passed away on April 28, 2020 at The Waters of Indianapolis. Terri was born on March 9, 1929 in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Canada to Donat and Elianne (Tessier) Trudel. After immigrating to the United States, Terri married Albert Brissart. Terri and Albert toured many states, and even the Philippines while Albert was in the Air Force. Terri worked for Jenn-Air for 16 years, and after taking a year off from work, she continued to work in a part-time capacity until she was 72.

After moving to Beech Grove in 1976, Terri became a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church. She was very active at the church, and served in many capacities including co-chairs of many activities, and finally as a Eucharist Minister. Additionally, Terri called bingo at St. Paul Hermitage for Ave Marie Guild. Terri also loved to cook, sew and do needlepoint.

Terri is survived by her son, Claude Brissart; sister, Pauline Tellier; grandsons: Brandon Brissart, Brian Brissart, Andrew Brissart and Roman Brissart; nephews: Gerald Tellier and Michael Tellier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and her parents.

A memorial service to celebrate Terri's life will be held at a later date at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227.
