Greenwood - Thelma Onedia "Pat" Brenner quietly left this earthly world on December 9, 2016, to the surprise of her family and friends, in Greenwood, IN. She was born May 30, 1941 in Rockholds, KY. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Ohio most of her life.
She was united in holy matrimony to William L. Brenner on August 29, 1970. They were blessed with 46 years and two children.
Pat's chosen career was as a Home Health Aide for the VNA. She was always there to help. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers and birds she loved so well. She absolutely adored her grandson, Chase, who was truly the light of her life. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and her adopted son, Jeff.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by: her children, Neil A. Brenner, and his wife, Lark, of Morgantown, Indiana and Robin Perault, and her husband, Robert, Chase's parents, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; Jeff's son, Jeremiah, and his mom, Vicki Buck, of Dayton, Ohio; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pat's family will receive friends Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 9 – 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 11 am. She will be laid to rest in Marion National Cemetery.
We were truly blessed with our mother, she will be immensely missed. Our hearts may be broken, however hers is healed.
