Terry Gene Smith

Indianapolis - Terry Gene Smith, 62, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born September 29, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late Edward and Blanch Cherry Smith. He served his community as a tow truck driver. Terry's profession was also his hobby. He really enjoyed driving his tow truck. He also loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and brothers and sisters.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Blanch Cherry Smith and his loved ones: Joe Smith, Lynn Smith and Judy Smith. He is survived by his sons: Kevin Lee Smith and Kenny Gene Smith; siblings: Glenda Smith, Jackie Morris, Steve Smith, Willy Beck and Sheila Coff; grandchildren: Kevin Smith, Jr., Kelle Smith, Anna Smith and Kenny Smith, Jr.; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Terry's family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. A committal service will be conducted at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
