Tammy L. Stansifer, 57, of Beech Grove, passed away on November 29, 2016 at Community Hospital South.
She was born on July 7, 1959 in Indianapolis to Douglas and Zelma (Simpson) Stansifer. She graduated in the class of 1977 from Beech Grove High School and furthered her education at Indiana Central University graduating with a degree in Business and Computer Science. Tammy worked for Indianapolis Public Schools for 34 years as a Computer Specialist. She enjoyed educating the students, crafts, bowling, knitting, spending time with her family and was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church. Tammy loved going to and spending time at the beach.
Tammy is survived by her father; siblings: Tina Loschky, Frances L. Baldwin, Edward R. Stansifer, Larry W. Stansifer; nieces and nephews: Tracy Baldwin, David Baldwin, Erin Baldwin, Ben Loschky, Breanna Loschky, Joy McArthur, Amy Tschopp.
She was preceded in death by her mother; brother: Michael L. Stansifer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016, from 4:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home 925 East Hanna Ave. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016, 11:00 am.
