INDIANAPOLIS – Susan Jean "Susie" Carter Perrine, 53, passed away at 8:40 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Bethany Village Nursing Home in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on April 27, 1969 to Bobby and Doris Rumple Carter in Indianapolis, IN.
Susie attended Arsenal Technical High School. Her hobbies included fishing, yard selling, driving, shopping and playing games. Susie loved spending time with friends and family. Her favorite movie to watch was The Sound of Music. Susie enjoyed laughing and making others laugh and smile.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lauren Sherrell; her siblings, Terri Carter, Lloyd Carter and Bobby Carter; her granddaughter, Kyleigh Carter; her father, Bobby Carter; as well as her 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 5 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Susie was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Carter and son, Daryl Carter.
Susie's family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.
