Sue C. Drake

Indianapolis - Sue C. Drake, 75, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She was born February 6, 1949 in Indianapolis to the late Glenn and Madeline Johnson Drake. She served her community as a waitress. Her family described her as a funny, loving woman who enjoyed watching old TV shows like “Highway to Heaven”, "Touched by An Angel” and “Walker, Texas Ranger” and movies like “Pure Country” and anything with Dolly Parton. She also enjoyed visiting the "Tavern" to drink a "Coke" or two while playing the slot machines.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Madeline Johnson Drake; sisters, Norma Barber and June Gorbett; brothers, Ralph Drake and Billy Drake; and life partner, Virgil "Butch" Willoughby. She is survived by her daughters: Loretta Madden, Amanda Willoughby and Cherrie Jones; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
