Steven Wayne Hartzell
June 14, 1976 — January 25, 2020
Indianapolis - Steven Wayne Hartzell, 43, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020. He graduated from Manual High School in 1994. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army where he served at Fort Carson, Colorado. His family described him as someone who was always willing to lend a hand when needed. His favorite thing to do was to drive around and listen to music.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert and Richard; grandma, Donna; uncle, Dennis; cousin, Ronald "Red" and best friend, Jimmy Mayes. He is survived by his mother, Roberta McPeak; son, Joe; daughter, Brailee; grandmother, Dorothy; uncles: Bobby and his companion, Judy, Ronnie, Charlie and Keith; aunt, Dawn; and several cousins.
Steven's family will receive friends Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 11 am at the funeral home chapel.
