Sandra Kay Norris

Indianapolis - Sandra Kay Norris, 77, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. She was born September 19, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late John, Jr. and Agnes Mulryan Ditchley. Sandra attended Wood High School. She was a past employee of both Blue Cross Blue Shield and the State of Indiana where she served in housekeeping. She loved her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed spending time on Facebook and being around people.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Norris; parents, John, Jr. and Agnes Mulryan Ditchley; brothers: William "Bud", Richard, Michael and Dennis Ditchley; and daughter, Melissa Murray. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Murray Sisk; son, Anthony Murray; siblings: Lillian Goens, Esther Breshear, Sheila Curran, Mary Spain, Cindy Cleary, Tina Biggs and James Ditchley; grandchildren: Brent Sisk, Jessica Roberts, Christopher Sisk, Shelby Bray, Anthony Isaic, Melisa Isaic, Alyssa and Zachary Murray; great grandchildren: Aliana, Kyree and Isaiah; and many other loving family members and friends.

Sandra's family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
