Rudy R. Day, 80, an Indianapolis Native passed away on September 24, 2018. Rudy was born on October 15, 1937 to Lee & Helen (Hensley) Day. He earned an associate degree from Lincoln Tech after returning from the United States Army, where he served with the Engineering Corp.

Rudy was the owner and operator of Days Locksmith and worked formerly for Diebold and Mosler. He was a member of Cornerstone Nazarene Church. Rudy was a former member of Warren Park Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, carpentry and spending time with his family.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years: Letty (Gosman) Day; son and daughter-in-law: Dan & Nancy Day; grandson: Daniel Day II and a host of other family and friends.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Charles Day, Frances Merandt, Anna Jane Arnold, Diana Day.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10 A.M. until his Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227.
