Indianapolis - Ruby Lee (Patton) Sheahan, 85, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was born December 3, 1938 in London, Kentucky to the late George Patton and Jean (Sowders) Roark.
Professionally, Ruby was the bookkeeper for Black and White Asphalt. Ruby enjoyed being outside and if the weather was just a little bit nice, you would find her outdoors tending to her yard and garden. She was known to spend many days shopping and had an extensive collection of shoes and clothes, mostly in red, her favorite color. She loved attending church and dressing to the nines. When Ruby wasn’t in her yard, shopping or at church, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and cherished every moment she had with him. It was not unusual for her to cook a big dinner for everyone to gather around.
Ruby is survived by her children, Louis and Kearie Sheahan; siblings, Jerry Patton and Pam Gibson; grandchildren, Kory Marks, Louis Sheahan II, Jeremiah Sheahan and Ryan Sheahan; and great granddaughter, Madison Marks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leaetta Sheahan; ex spouse, Jerry Sheahan; sister, Valerie Ferryman; brothers, Ray and Robert Patton; and grandson, Michael Marks.
