Roosevelt Cloud, 79, of Indianapolis died September 16, 2016. On July 21, 1937 he was born to Frank & Fanny (Jones) Cloud in Evarts, Kentucky.
Roosevelt was drafted into the Army and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked for the A & P Company for 27 years. He retired from Roadway Express in 1996. Roosevelt was an avid fisherman and loved being with his grandchildren.
Roosevelt is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Pat (Crabtree) Cloud; son and daughter-in-law: Tony & Kristie Cloud; sister: Naomi Cloud; three grandchildren: Alyssa, Alex, Abigail; niece: Sharon Scott and nephew: Damon Cloud Jr. and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be on Monday September, 19, 2016 from 5 until 8 P.M. at New Life Church 7010 E. Thompson Rd. Indianapolis 46239. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10 A.M. at the church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
