Ronnie Leon Decker, Jr.

Indianapolis - Ronnie Leon Decker, Jr., 39, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was born March 8, 1981 in Indianapolis, IN to Ronnie Decker, Sr. and Gloria Jonson Sanders. He served his community as a welder. He was also an ordained minister. Ronnie loved basketball and boxing. He also enjoyed skating. His family described him as a kind, funny, loving and very goofy man who excelled at everything he did. He never met a stranger. He loved his family, particularly his grandbaby.

Ronnie is survived by his children: Tiana Decker, Chasity Crawford and Chas Holliday; mother, Gloria Jean Sanders and her husband, Johnny; father, Ronnie Decker his wife, Amanda; step-mother, Janet Brown; siblings: John Paul Davis and his wife Lisa, Sabrina Decker and her husband, Michael, Dustin Decker, John Allen Cherry, Justin Cherry and Whitney Decker; grandson, Zaiden Decker; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ronnie's family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2020, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2020 at 10 am at the funeral home with Perry and Nikki Smith officiating.
