Ronald Ray Schloesser, aged 69, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at his home in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Born on January 26, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Raymond and Eleanor Schloesser.
On January 10, 1981, Ronald married the love of his life, Shirley Blake, and she survives. He dedicated 23 years of his career to the Indianapolis Chrysler Foundry before retiring, after which he found great joy in driving a school bus and generously volunteering for the Feed America Program.
Ronald was a man of many passions, including fishing, woodworking, and gardening, all of which brought him immense joy and fulfillment.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Shirley Schloesser; his sons, Jonathan (Sarah) Schloesser and Ray (Amy) Schloesser; four grandchildren who brought him great joy; his sister, Barbara (Roy) Cagle; and his brother, Don (Teresa) Schloesser. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Bill Schloesser.
A graveside service to celebrate Ronald’s life will take place on Monday, November 25th, at 10 a.m. at Acton Cemetery, located at 7900 Acton Road, Indianapolis, IN 46259.
Ronald will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
