Indianapolis - Ronald Lee Leohr, 74, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019.
He was born April 19, 1944 in Indianapolis. Ron was employed by Chrysler for 30 years. He led a full life with a loving family and close friendships. Ron has made his final ride here on earth and is now in Heaven riding on those streets of gold.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Paine; father, Virgil Leohr; and son, David Lee Leohr. He is survived by his sister, Crystal Jean Gosman; son, Mark Ronald Leohr; step-daughter, Jennifer (Aaron) Warnick and their 4 children; step-son, Jeff (Amanda) Wiley and their 3 children; and grandsons, Steven Leohr and Zachary Randolph.
Ron's family will receive friends Friday, February 22, 2019, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 p.m. A committal service will be conducted at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
