Ronald Edward Gooley, 88, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Beech Grove Meadows in Beech Grove, IN. He was born to the late Wilbur and Helene (McCoy) Gooley on September 10, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN.
Ronald graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, IN. He was a punch press operator at Jenn Aire, retiring after 30 years.
Ronald absolutely loved duct tape, he used it on almost everything. He was an avid Colts football and Pacer basketball fan. Ronald enjoyed watching college sports, spending time with family and having cookouts.
He is survived by his loving children, Sara Belle Miller and DeWayne Edward Gooley; his grandchildren, Brandon Gooley, Dana Gooley and Lindsey Espinoza; and his great grandchildren, Chelsie, Dylan, Masyn, Kai, Kelton, Juan Jr. and Lexie. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Gooley II.
