Indianapolis – Rodney Alan Cooper, 43, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.
Rodney was born January 14, 1974 in Indianapolis. He owned and operated Clean Rite Janitorial Service. He was a member of Keystone Avenue House of Praise. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the beach, but more than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Rodney was preceded in death by his daughters, Ashley Cooper and Faith Cooper and his father, John Long. He is survived by his sons, Rodney Cooper, Jr. and Jordan Cooper; daughters, Hannah Cooper and Lauren Cooper; father, Harley W. Cooper; mother, Beverly Cooper; sister, Cindy Smock; brothers, Chad Long and Robert Cooper; grandmother, Rose Cannon; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Rodney's family will receive friends Monday, February 6, 2017, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Donny Cannon officiating.
