Roberta Marie Burch

Beech Grove - Roberta Marie "Bert" Burch, 60, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born October 5, 1962 in Michigan City, IN to Carol Susan Hullings Lykins and the late Robert William Burch. She was employed in the retail industry where she served as a warehouse associate.

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, step-mother, grandmother and friend, Bert loved to share her stories and jokes, making the people around her laugh. She enjoyed trying new recipes and cooking for her friends and family, making your favorite birthday cake upon request. She was an animal lover and enjoyed movies and music of all genres. She would countdown the days until football started and cheer on her favorite teams, win or lose. Her quick-witted sense of humor kept everyone around her on their toes. Those who knew Bert will cherish the memories of her as she was truly one of a kind.

Bert was preceded in death by her beloved wife, Tammy Sharp Fanelli; father, Robert William Burch; sister, Katherine Hogan; and brother, David Burch. She is survived by her mother, Carol Lykins; sister, Sherry Burch; step-sons, Christopher (wife, Melissa) Fanelli and Joseph Fanelli; grandchildren Hayden and Addison Fanelli; and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of Bert's life will be conducted Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue., Indianapolis, IN 46227.
