Robert Allen Wilmoth

Indianapolis - Robert Allen Wilmoth, 61, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born April 25, 1960 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Jack Wilmoth and Marjorie Walker Stephenson. He graduated from Ball State University. He served as a chef at a local branch of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

He enjoyed NASCAR, Indy Racing and IU Basketball. Additionally, he loved bowling and volunteering at his church and local food banks. He was also very involved in a canine program rehabilitating dogs.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Stephenson; father, Jack Wilmoth; step-mother, Ann Wilmoth; step-brother, David Baldwin; and nephew Danny Howard, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Howard and her husband, Danny; brother, Gary Lee Wilmoth and his wife, Melissa; step-sister, Sheliah Richey; step-brother, Jeff Baldwin and his wife, Laura; niece, Kerri Fox; nephews, Gary Lee Wilmoth, Jr. and Ryan Howard; great nieces: MacKenzie, Kennedy and Savannah Wilmoth and Kylie Howard; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Robert's life will be conducted Monday, August 2, 2021, at 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
