Robert Anthony "Rob" Ford, age 59 of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly following an accident on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born September 22, 1963 in St. Petersburg, Florida the son of William "Bill" and Loretta (Murphy) Ford. Rob was a 1982 graduate of Indianapolis School of the Blind and following high school went and furthered his education at Indiana Business College. In high school Rob was an excellent wrestler and won the National Wrestling Championship for vision impaired students in 1982. For many years, Rob would travel to different locations to run his karaoke business. He enjoyed singing karaoke, and watching all sports including WWE, football and NASCAR. When it came to NASCAR, Rob was a Dale Jarrett and Joey Logano fan, and was proud to tell the story of when he got to meet Dale Jarrett one time and take a picture with him. He had his own way of showing his love, but he loved his children and family dearly and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Rob is survived by 2 daughters, Aubrey L. Ford and Alayna C. Ford; 3 siblings, Glen (Cathy) Ford, Barbara King and Lisa Ford; mother of his children, Cynthia "Cyn" Laube; and several nieces and nephews.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Connie Ford and Lonnie Ford.

Rob's wishes to have a cremation and his family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions in Indianapolis is honored to handle Rob's cremation arrangements.
