Indianapolis - Robert "Bobby" Davis, 61, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016.
Mr. Davis was born June 15, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN. He was self-employed as a trader. He had many interests including the Indiana Grand Casino and playing poker with his friends, but more than anything else, he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his daughter, Nevaeh Davis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Diane Davis; daughters, Chrystal Brown and her husband, Jerry, Shaun Hicks and Dawn Foster and her husband, Eric; sons, Bobby Davis, Travis Davis Smith and Shane Davis and his wife, Jessica; sister, Bonnie Vaughn and her husband, John; brother, Dennis Hovey; 28 grandchildren with one more on the way; one great grandchild; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
The Davis family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, March 25, 2016, at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
