Rick Allen Wolfhope

MARTINSVILLE – Rick Allen Wolfhope, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana from an ongoing battle with cancer. He was born on March 29, 1957 to the late Frances Edward and Mary Lou (Diehl) Wolfhope in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
Rick graduated from Southport High School in 1975. Professionally, he worked as an electric motor technician from 1978 – 2020 for Turbo & Diesel Injection Group in Indianapolis, IN. Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting and caring for his pond.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Wolfhope & his wife Lynn; uncle, Chet Diehl; nephews, Jared and Justin Wolfhope; daughter, Cassie Wolfhope; and granddaughter, Isabella Wolfhope. In addition to Rick’s parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Jordan Wolfhope.
A celebration of Rick’s life will be held this Spring.
