Richard E. Merila, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 14, 2018. Richard was born in Chicago to Uno and Chloe (Wininger) Merila.
Richard was a member of Center United Methodist Church. He was an avid Wrestling Fan, playing video games, watching the Colts, working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. He volunteered for Centered Around Christ Inc. where he took his position of Greeter very seriously.
Richard is survived by his siblings: Kevin, Brenda, Frank, Scott, Mark, Katherine and a host of other family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Paul; step-brothers: Robert "Bob", Donald.
