Indianapolis - Richard Thew Huling, 70, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019. He was born January 20, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin. Prior to living in Indiana, Richard was a resident of Parkersburg, West Virginia for over 45 years.
Richard was employed by GE Plastics where he served as a lab technician. He retired in 2004. Richard was a lifetime member of the Parkersburg Moose Lodge 1118. He was very proud to have held the office of Governor from 2015-2016 as well as the office of treasurer. He participated in the Emerson Lanes bowling league and enjoyed woodworking.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard T Huling and his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ellen Huling. He is survived by his daughters, Jill Huling and Karen Buckrop (Randy); mother, Jeanne Huling; brothers: Don Huling (Tina), Dan Huling (Cathy) and David Huling; granddaughter, Victoria Correll; and nieces: Jennifer Custer (Nathan), Amy Kovacs (Bill), Lenore Seelye (Skip), Stephanie Horn (Jason), Patti Bishop (Brian) and Margaret Huling.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richard's memory to Mooseheart Child City & School Inc.
