Richard Lee "Rick" Clapper, Jr., 62, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Bloomington, IN. He was born December 23, 1958 in Indianapolis.
Rick worked with his father in the motorcycle industry, manufacturing business and farming before starting his own HVAC company. He lived in a home on Lake Lemon that started out as a two bedroom bungalow that he renovated extensively. Rick enjoyed motorcycle racing, boating and skiing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Rick and his father, Dick, who passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 2 pm at St. Roch Catholic Church, 3600 South Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of their lives will follow at The Barn at Crystal Spring Farm, 3620 Hurricane Road, Franklin, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Richard Lee Clapper Foundation, 248 Daffon Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Funds from this foundation will be used to build a home for a wounded veteran.
