Rebecca Sue (Huff) Long, 81, of Fillmore, IN died Saturday, February 24, 2024 of natural causes.
She was born on December 13, 1942 to the late Otley Paul Huff and Dallie Odessa Gross in Burksville, Kentucky.
Rebecca worked as a cashier at Walmart for over 25 years.
She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and had an extensive doll collection. Rebecca’s interests included bowling, coloring and crocheting. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and watching her favorite shows. Amongst Rebecca’s favorite things to do were going to yard sales and thrift shopping, but most of all, she loved having her family together and visiting with them.
Rebecca was a kind-hearted soul. She was giving, caring and humble. She had a heart of gold that would help others every chance she could.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Bette Douglas, Cindy Boltinghouse, Carolyn Roper and Johnnie Games; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death, by 2 grandchildren.
Rebecca’s friends and family may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM with Minster Gary Brackett officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
