Ralph Francis

Ralph George Francis, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015.

Ralph was born January 4, 1943 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Ralph and Clara Bell(Bowman) Francis, both of whom preceded him in death. On September 18, 1971 he married Mary Anderson. He was a mail carrier for the United States Post Office until his retirement at age 33. He worked several other jobs until his health no longer allowed him to work. Ralph was a member of University Heights Baptist Church.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Mary Francis; daughter, Mary Schwartz; granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole Roller; and siblings, Mark Francis, Garry Francis, Sandra Gilbert, Jacklin Sherrill and Rosedna Williams.

Ralph's family will receive friends Sunday, November 22, 2015, from 4:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 23, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Indianapolis Chapel with Pastor Todd Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
