Paula Jane(Aldrich) Holsclaw

Paula Jane (Aldrich) Holsclaw, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 9, 2016. She was born on February 13, 1931 in Indianapolis to John and Bessie (Baxter) Aldrich. Paula was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church. On May 17, 1948 she married Kenny Holsclaw. Paula had worked for Michel Pharmacy for 25 years until its closing in 1992. She had earned her high school diploma in 1983 in full cap and gown ceremonies, being the oldest graduate that year, at the age of 52 from Arsenal Tech High School.

Paula is survived by her husband: Kenny; children: Kenny Holsclaw, Jr.,
Peggy Holsclaw, Mike (Cindy) Holsclaw, Kathy (Mike) Bays, Ronnie Holsclaw, David (Jerri) Holsclaw Sr., Susan (Randy) Holsclaw-Atwell;
14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren: Tammy Holsclaw, Alexandria Holsclaw; great-grandchild: Abigail Manning.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis 46227. Pastor Don Smith of Lighthouse Community Church will officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
