Indianapolis - Paul William Edmond, Sr. passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Mr. Edmond was born January 26, 1928 in LaFollette, TN. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement in 1989, Mr. Edmond worked for Amtrak where he served as a welder.
Mr. Edmond was preceded in death by his eldest son, Paul Edmond, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Edmond; sons, David L. Edmond, James A. Edmond and John C. Edmond, all of Indianapolis; daughter, Felicia J. Edmond Ferragamo and her husband, Roger, of Columbus, OH; brother, James Edmond of Indianapolis; sister, Linda Sue Edmond Christ of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mr. Edmond's family will receive friends Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
