Patty Sue Fowler

Patty Sue Fowler, born on November 15, 1949, in Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 14,2025, at the age of 75. Patty lived a life filled with love and dedication, marked by her passion for cosmetology, which she pursued after graduating from Beauty School. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as a cosmetologist until her retirement, where she brought joy and confidence to countless clients through her creative talents.

Patty was a devoted family member and took great pride in her loved ones. She shared a meaningful partnership with her husband, Curtis Fowler, whom she married on June 3, 1969. Patty's family extended to her grandchildren, Curtis, Ethan, and Aden Fowler, along with many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with her.

Her joyous spirit was evident in her hobbies, which included dancing and spending quality time with family. Patty had a playful side as well, fondly remembered for her love of playing Yahtzee and working on crossword puzzles—a testament to her vibrant personality and adventurous mind.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Fowler and son James W. Fowler. She is also reunited with her parents, William and Hattie (Hamilton) Tackett, and her siblings: Eartha Deitz, Donald Tackett, Irene Tackett, Norlene Hamilton, Lucy Kraft, Bobby Tackett, John Tackett, Billy Henson, Betty Kiser, Gladys Tackett, Randy Tackett and Larry Tackett

Her legacy lives on through her beloved brother, Ronnie Tackett, along with her grandchildren and many extended family members, all of whom remember her with love and honor her memory.

A burial service will be held on January 22, 2025, at Round Hill Cemetery, located at 5235 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The service will commence at 2:00 PM, with the burial following at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance of Patty Sue Fowler, a woman who touched many lives with her warmth and kindness.
