Patricia Ottinger

Indianapolis - Patricia Louise Jones Ottinger, 82, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022. She was born August 19, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Fred and Ethel Woods Jones. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was employed by the Hampton Inn where she served as a housekeeper. She was Catholic.

Mrs. Ottinger loved her grandchildren, listening to country music and camping. Her hobbies included playing solitaire and crocheting. Additionally, she enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Ottinger was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ethel Woods Jones; sister, Frieda Duncan; brothers, Fred Jones and Tommy Jones; daughter-in-law, Vicki Ottinger; and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Carl Ottinger; daughter, Anna and her husband, James; sons: Carl and his wife, Cindy, Robbie, Ronald and his wife, Lora and Andy and his wife, Brenda; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ottinger's family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225. A committal service will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
