Indianapolis - Patricia Louise "Patty" Covert, 64, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born March 26, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late Ernest Tibbs and Nancy Tarr Peel. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1975 and married James Covert in 1976. She served her family as a homemaker.
Patty loved bowling. She began bowling at a very young age and was a member of the Eagles Bowling League. She also enjoyed watching crime shows on TV.
Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, James Covert, Sr.; sons, James Covert, Jr. and Brian Covert; sister, Teresa Tibbs; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
