Patricia Florence Coulson

Indianapolis - Patricia Florence Coulson, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 1, 1937 to the late Ralph Irving and F. Anna (Coffey) Shipp. The late Joseph E. Coulson took Miss Patricia Shipp as his bride on October 27, 1956 at Eastminster United Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was a homemaker for most of her life. Patricia enjoyed reading and puzzles. She loved playing bingo and spending time her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children, Steven Coulson, David Coulson of Coatesville, Indiana, Shannon Goebel of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joseph Coulson, Stacy Burton; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Coulson; mother, F. Anna Shipp; father, Ralph Shipp; and her husband, Joseph E. Coulson.

Patricia's family and friends may visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm. For the health and safety of all guest attending, face masks are required. Thank you. Interment will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. In lieu of usual remembrances, direct memorial contributions to the family.
