Pamela attended Southport High School, where she graduated in 1972. Throughout her life, she embraced her dual roles as a mother and homemaker, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. Her passion extended beyond her home; she also served as the Concession Manager at sporting events, bringing joy and a sense of community to all who encountered her.
Family was of paramount importance to Pamela. She and her beloved spouse, Robert Larry Smith, shared a profound bond, marrying on August 28, 1970, at the Bluff Road Methodist Church. Together, they created a nurturing environment that was filled with love and support. Pamela treasured her children, Michele Pitcock, Robert "Bobby" Smith II, and Heather Smith, and reveled in the moments spent with them, pouring her heart into each family gathering.
Pamela delighted in being a grandmother to Carl Pitcock, Brent Pitcock, Virginia Smith, Mitchell Smith, Joseph Smith, Renee Diaz, and Erica Smith.
