Pamela Sue Delk, born Pamela Sue Liford on July 22, 1961, in Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home in Indianapolis Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She attended Perry Meridian High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Pamela will always be remembered for her sincerity, caring nature, exciting spirit, and loving demeanor.

 

 

Pamela’s interests and hobbies were as varied as they were vibrant - from collecting Coca - Cola memorabilia to antiquing and home decorating, to enjoying concerts and cookouts. She found solace in fishing and swimming and was a dedicated fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

 

One of Pamela's proudest accomplishments was her marriage to Julian Delk on December 4, 1981, in Indianapolis. This union brought forth a beautiful family that meant the world to her.

 

She is survived by her loving husband, Julian N. Delk; devoted children: Eric Baldwin, Justin Delk, and Kara Delk; cherished grandchildren: Alexis, Jaiden, Jayla, Alesha, Darien and Shyla; brothers: Rex Jackson, Lynn Jackson, Allen Jackson, Danny Jackson and Bobby Liford; sister, Betty Liford; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

 

Pamela’s family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2024, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

 

Pamela Sue Delk's presence brought light and joy to all those around her. Her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace surrounded by the love she so freely gave during her time on earth.
