June 27, 1979 — December 3, 2021
Sarasota – Nelson George "Beau" Troutman II, age 42, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 after a tragic motorcycle accident in Sarasota, Florida. He was the loving son of Nelson George Troutman Sr. and Deborah M. (Buchanan) Wood born on June 27, 1979 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Nelson was united in marriage on January 2, 2020 to Ranae Nadia Sechrest in Sarasota, Florida.
Nelson attended Beech Grove High School. He was lead diver on their swim team and was also on the soccer and track and field team. Nelson received a Bachelor Degree from Ball State University in 2004. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. At the age of 13 he killed his first deer and was extremely proud to bring the deer home to his family. Nelson loved riding his motorcycle, going to the beach and spending time with his dogs Smokey and Reuben. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing and listening to music. Nelson cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a subcontractor and owned his own business. In his free time you could find him at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, Florida. Nelson had a heart of gold and an infectious smile.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ranae Nadia Troutman; his mother, Deborah M. Wood and her husband, Tim; his father, Nelson George Troutman Sr. and his significant other, Lisa; his children, Adam, Aaryan, Rocky and Brody; his siblings, Marcy Dillard and her husband, Dustin, Angela Hickey and her significant other, Chad Hahn, Brandon Wood and his wife, Charity and Jessica Wood; 1 granddaughter and expecting a grandson in January 2022; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Victoria "Pickle", Bella, Jake, Kyleigh "Kyleigh Girl", Logan and several other nieces and nephews; his great nephew, Bradlee; and his great niece, Layla. Nelson was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, fraternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Nelson's friends and family may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with Father Peter Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 435 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225.
