Indianapolis - Nanette Louise Lowman, 75, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Ms. Lowman was born Thursday, May 20, 1943, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Walter and Jess Bonn. She was employed by K-Mart for 20 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, outdoor wildlife and flowers, and her dogs and cats.
Ms. Lowman was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jess Bonn; husbands, John Lowman and William "Bill" Smith; and sister, Patricia Blankenship. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Noonan and her husband, Bob; sons, Tim Cross and his wife, Lisa, Mark Cross and his wife, Tracy and Michael Cross; sister, Sharon Gray; brother, Phil Bonn and his wife, Sharon; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many other beloved family members and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Lowman's life will be conducted Friday, August 10, 2018, at 3 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Her family will receive friends immediately following the service from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home chapel.
Ms. Lowman's family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society in her honor.
