Minnie R. Paige

Minnie R. Paige, age 40 of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2022. She was born August 9, 1982 in McDowell, Kentucky the daughter of Walk and Peggy (Weigle) Tackett. Minnie was a graduate of South Floyd High School and then went on to attend beauty school. Minnie loved to do hair and makeup and was truly talented at it. She liked to watch and play basketball, volleyball and softball. Minnie liked to go shopping, watch movies, cook and draw. The most important part of Minnie's life was her family and friends. She had a heart of gold caring for both people and animals. Minnie could light up a room with her sense of humor, her joy for life and her beauty inside and out. More than anything, Minnie was an incredible mom, daughter, sister and friend.

Minnie is survived by her son, Brody Paige; mother, Peggy Tackett; 3 siblings, Craig Tackett, Chrissy Queen and Calvin Tackett; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and extended family members.

Minnie is preceded in death by her father, Walk Tackett.

A funeral celebrating Minnie's life will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions at 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2022. Please continue to support Minnie's family during these trying times.
